Founder, Jim Crosby, was born and raised in Thomasville, Georgia. He came to
Tallahassee to start his plumbing business on a hope and a promise to himself.
Being new to the area he began to knock on doors and visit businesses to
introduce himself to Tallahassee folks. After knocking on doors a few days,
he received his first call for service and that's how Jim Crosby Plumbing
was started.

Jim received his first plumbing license as a journeyman
plumber in 1971 at the age of 23. His master plumbing license was obtained in
1973 for the City of Tallahassee. The first year of business in 1977 was with an
occupational license for the City of Tallahassee.
Since the beginning, Jim has done his best to provide quality service and has always stood behind his and his employees' workmanship.
He believed his company employed only the best technicians available to the industry. He also believed that a company IS NOT any better than the employees that the company employs.
On December 31, 2015 Jim Crosby (Father) retired and Chris Crosby (Son) took over as owner and president on January 1, 2016. Purchasing the company from Jim Crosby (Father), Chris is continuing the reputation of outstanding service and quality work. He has the knowledge and determination to carry Jim Crosby Plumbing into the future.
Chris Crosby received his master plumber license in 2015. Chris has worked in the plumbing field since Jr. High School with his dad Jim Crosby. He moved to Jacksonville and worked at Ashley Plumbing for 12 years as Superintendent and Service Manager. He came back to Jim Crosby Plumbing in 2012 as Superintendent/Field Supervisor and Service Manager. He now takes on the role of Owner and President.
Carrying on the tradition maintaining old and new relationships, Jim Crosby Plumbing offers a complete plumbing business including repair, remodeling, new residential construction, and anything associated with the plumbing trade.
